Oral thrush, also known as oral candidiasis is caused due to the overgrowth of the fungus candida albicans on the lining of the mouth. Candida is an organism that is commonly present in the mouth, however, if accumulated in one region, it can cause symptoms and reactions. Here are a few things you should know about oral thrush:
