In a groundbreaking achievement, Saudi German Hospital Madinah has become the first private hospital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to be awarded accreditation by the Joint Commission International (JCI) in recognition of the quality of its healthcare services in the treatment of stroke. The unique accomplishment has also made Saudi German Hospital Madinah the sixth hospital in the Middle East to obtain this prestigious endorsement from JCI, a recognized global leader in health care accreditation.

Makarem Sobhi Batterjee, President and Vice-Chairman of Saudi German Health, said: “We are proud that Saudi German Hospital Madinah has been awarded the JCI accreditation. This new achievement is a recognition of the excellent healthcare services provided by our hospital in Madinah.”

He added: “This new success is an incentive for us to further enhance the quality, efficiency, and reliability of our healthcare services, and capitalize on our specialized healthcare professionals and state-of-the-art medical equipment.”

The accreditation is the product of public health awareness campaigns focused on symptoms of stroke, risk factors, and the importance of efficient medical attention, which is crucial for the treatment of stroke. Furthermore, it is a testament to the outstanding efforts and significant contribution of the highly-qualified doctors, health practitioners, nurses, technicians, and administrators at Saudi German Hospital Madinah.

Saudi German Hospital Madinah offers state-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest stroke diagnostic technologies that enable its expert medical professionals to provide innovative treatments at all stages, particularly catheter-based therapy and reperfusion therapy.

Furthermore, the hospital’s intensive care unit provides stroke patients acute and early rehabilitation, post-primary rehabilitation, and a specialized stroke clinic to enable follow-ups and ensure necessary medical support to prevent a recurrence.
